Quick Note

Send me emails!!! I want to hear about your lives. And facebook hates me here…

Along with the 2 year old with 3 feet of PVC pipe at the internet cafe swinging it around like a sword at me… this is quite the place to grow up…hopefully I can upload some pictures soon of the “cambodian car-seat” ill give you a hint you have 2 of them.

About followingdreams

I have recently graduated from UCSD with a bachelor of arts in International Studies: History and Political Science. I embarked on a 27 month journey (a.k.a. 2 years and 3 months, a.k.a. 2 missed Chirstmas' and Thanksgivings, a.k.a. missing nephew's first and second birthday...) with Peace Corps to teach English in Cambodia, or at least that is what I have been told. And struggled through 6 months of life in rural Cambodia, Peace Corps, life across the globe. This blog captured a snapshot of that adventure in a way that hopefully enticed you to laugh at the trials! Please email me updates on your life and questions you may have as well, inquires about catering gigs. I would love to hear where life has taken you, because the road I have traveled has been quite the unexpected one. And would love to journey along side you in this crazy thing we called life.

    Hi Leslie,

Great to hear you are adjusting to your new life! We have had 53 days of over 90 degree heat and lots of high humidity so I can relate somewhat. I recall being in China in 1984 for 3.5 weeks as part of my masters program at USC and I rarely had to go “number one” because I sweated so much. Andy, Yasmina and the kids are coming to the lake this weekend which should be fun. Jordan just finished a month in Italy and he had a blast – he did lots of hiking in the Italian Alps. Ryan is headed to Phoenix for a few days to see his Arizona State buddies after completing his second summer at the bank. School starts up for Jordan (8/23) and Ryan (8/30). Take care! We love you! Uncle Keith and Aunt Louisa and the corgis :)
